Warranty and what should I do now?

When your appliances are delivered you will be provided with a delivery note from the carrier, please keep this safe with your UK-appliance.com invoice, which will be your proof of purchase and will be required in the unlikely event of a warranty claim.

As an alternative, you can register your appliance with Register my appliance.

But why register with register my appliance?

Registering your appliance is not compulsory but it has advantages that are beneficial to you as a consumer.

In the unlikely event that a manufacturer identifies a faulty or issue with an appliance that has been on the market for some time they may need to recall or fix the problem on site. You may need to be contacted if the fault needs to be corrected as quickly as possible and by registering with Register my appliances you are ensuring the best service at all times.

As a consumer, it is important that you take the time and responsibility to inform the manufacturers that you purchased one of their appliances and ensure that they have your direct contact details.

Registering can also benefit you in extended warranty discounts and promotions.

Remember when you register your appliance with either the manufacturer or Register my appliance you will need the following:

  • Brand name
  • Model of your product (Which may be a name or number)
  • Serial number (Normally between 10 and 16 digits long and appears on a plate on the appliance)
  • Purchase date
  • If you don’t remember exactly when your product was purchased the approximate day, month and year will do.

Once registered your details will remain registered to that appliance until you either inform the manufacturer or Register my appliance.
